Charlie Frye is the man, apparently. With the Browns trading Trent Dilfer to San Fran last night for Ken Dorsey, the Browns are apparently putting all of their stock in a guy who has started 5 games with a QB rating of 64. Like most people I think Charlie Frye has the potential to be good, but I haven't seen anything yet that would lead me to believe this guy is definitely the man.
Also, am I the only one who thought that Dilfer was valuable to this team? On the very real possibility that Charlie can't get it done this year, we really have no options left. Ken Dorsey hasn't been the same since OSU pounded him in the Fiesta Bowl, and that was 3 years ago now. Seriously, people gave Dilfer way too much crap last year. We knew what we were getting when we signed him, but apparently coming in and being an average QB in Cleveland is enough to get you booed. Oh well, better hope Frye gets it done, or it's going to be a long season.
